We keenly understand that the donors and organizers concern on effective usage of donated money and some may prefer official acknowledgment or proof of effective distribution. We sincerely understand that United Nations and International organizations could help million times better than us. However, before these organizations could reach to affected region and establish their supply, there will surely be thousands of people starving and suffering a lot. We simply want to fill up the gap. Our mission is to collect donations as much as we can and to send financial aids as quickly as possible to local cyclone relief group.
Early morning of May 10, we have transfered first batch of collected donations (total amount of 1,500,000 Kyats ) to local counterpart Nyi Lynn Seck so that cyclone relief group can start distribution in timely manner.
Our special thanks go to Ma San Yu Khine from Yokohama for collecting donations and coordinating with us. She and her friends contribute 35000 JPY in our first batch transfer of 1,500,000 Kyats.

I am very pleased to read about this website and have came to know about the good will of well wishers and their kind thoughts about people from cyclone hit areas of Myanmar. I do really appreciate your contributions.
I also thank the student association of Nagaoka university for their kind help and effort to Nargis cyclone victims.
I am also the EC member of General Practitioner Society of Myanmar Medical Association and our group is also participating the relief activities in cyclone hit regions especially in villages where they got less support.
Our society already made 5 trips and gave medical treatment to the strom vicitims in Warbalaukthauck village tract in Kawhmu township on 15th May, in three villages in Dedaye from 21st to 22nd with Megwe GP group, in three wards in Shwepaukkan, North Okkaplpa on 21st, at the 5miles relief cmaps in Labutta townships on 29th May. We did educational talks for children at relief camp.
Not only medical treatment, we also donated rice, oil, salt, pure drinking water, clothers and utensils.
I here also express our sincere thanks to the Fukuoka Lion Club who donated 10 Millions kyats to our society to continue the activities.
Our society is going to continue our acitvities as much as we can.
